If you are planning to visit Black Forest Trading Post & The Deer Park “BFTP&TDP” property, we ask that you respect our Policies and Expectations to help ensure all guests have a safe, enjoyable time to remember for generations to come. We endeavor for every guest visiting our property to thoroughly enjoy their experience.
Guests are to respect our neighbors’ properties, signage as well as their privacy. Do not trespass onto their property.
Any guest who is not able to adhere to Policies and Expectations or has violated Polices and Expectations may be refused service while being asked to leave the BFTP&TDP property & prohibited from returning.
Adherence to Policies, Rules, and Laws
♦ Guests are expected to abide by and comply with BFTP&TDP property policies, rules, warnings, and instructions that are posted, spoken, or otherwise listed or communicated to guests. Guests must also comply with local, state, and federal laws. *Only feed deer food provided by BFTP&TDP. Do NOT bring your own feed/food for the deer!

♦ All guests are expected to treat all others at BFTP&TDP property in a respectful and courteous manner. Any unlawful, unsafe, aggressive, disruptive, offensive, inappropriate, or disrespectful “bad” behavior will not be tolerated.
Prohibited Activities [if spoken to…usually leads to being asked to leave]
♦ Engaging in acts or behaviors that BFTP&TDP determines in its sole discretion are a safety concern or that interrupts BFTP&TDP operations or another guest’s experience. This includes but not limited to refusing to follow verbal or written instructions or that which creates a disturbance or any danger.
DO NOT….
- Enter restricted or prohibited areas including, but not limited to Posted Signage, No Trespassing, Keep Out, locked and fenced areas
- Climb perimeter fences & gates, trees, planters, tables/benches
- GEM MINE: Do Not… Sit, Climb, Stand, Crawl, Walk, or Lay on any part of the Mining Sluice (Follow signage)
- Damage any property, Pick Foliage & or Grass (Not to be fed to the Deer)
- Aggression of any kind; including verbal and physical threats or assaults
- Lean, sit, lay & or walk on vehicles/trailers you don’t own
SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY
- Service animals are welcome. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a service animal (usually a dog) is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. Service animals are working animals, they are not pets and/or Emotional Support Animals.
- Service Animals must be trained, properly harnessed or leashed, and always be under their owners’ control during their visit.
- Guests with service animals are required to clean-up all defecation from their service animal.
- We DO ASK THAT GUESTS WITH A SERVICE ANIMAL CHECK IN on arrival inside the Trading Post so that we can review our guidelines at the start of your visit. Our goal is to help you have a great day and also ensure our animals are safe and comfortable during your visit.
- *The following area from the signs “NO DOGS BEYOND THIS POINT AT ALL TIMES” to the Deer Fence areas are restricted, NO service animals are permitted to ensure our animals are not stressed, while ensuring their safety and comfortable during your visit.
- Q. Can a person with a service animal be asked to leave?
- A. Service Animal meeting initial criteria can be asked to leave when… ►Barking and/or growling, vicious or aggressive behavior toward people or animals; ►Disruptive behavior such as jumping toward or running at other people or animals; ►Not being housebroken or cleaned up after; ►Not being under control of handler such as not being held by harness/ leash.
NO PETS / EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS
♦ For the safety of our animals and our guests, NO emotional support animals and NO pets are permitted on any part of the property for any amount of time. (Please do NOT try to sneak them in or lock them in your car, you will be refused service & asked to leave)
Parking
♦ Parking is for active, purchasing, present customers only. Under no circumstance including breakdowns is a vehicle/trailer of any kind permitted to be left on the property, for any period of time. Violators will be sited & towed at the owner of the vehicle’s expense.
Drones (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles)
♦ BFTP&TDP Strictly prohibits the operation of or use of any unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Commonly known as “Drones,” on, from, or above the BFTP&TDP property without specific written permission from BFTP&TDP. This includes all UAVs regardless of size, weight, or purpose.

- Q. Can customers enter the property when closed/after hours?
- A. No one is permitted to enter the property when both ends of the entry gates to the property are closed or after hours. Also, under no circumstance are the gates to be blocked. Violators will be sited, arrested for trespassing & prosecuted; no excuse is acceptable.

- A. NO… We are not a playground or daycare; We strive to for every family/guest to fully enjoy their experience. In order for that to be achieved adults need to actively monitor and supervise the youth they bring at all times.
- Q. Why can’t I order through your website online?
- A. The products we offer at BFTP&TDP rotate often. The website pictures are just a small sample of what we have to offer and the type of products we carry. So, we only do business in person the old fashion way.
